 One Wonderful Journey...
Expected date of birth was: 5. august 2007 My expected sex was girl, it was found out on 28th. week of pregnancy.
Mom thought while waiting for me: There's so much to think about and so many different feelings. I feel so blessed to have you. I can't wait to hold you in my arms. Everyday I'm so thrilled knowing that you're growing inside me. Just hang in there my angel. We love you so much.
Dad thought while waiting for me: I was a bit anxious but very excited. A lot of thoughts were running on my head. I want the pregnancy to be over quickly so that i could hold my precious baby. i just prayed for a healthy baby and for a safe delivery.
Before birth I was called: baby... my angel...

My name is Ciara Alexa Baricuatro, it was given to me on 2. august 2007 (~few hours old). Name means: Ciara means "Brilliant" ; Alexa means " Protector of Man "
Why this name? Dad and Mom gave me these names because they strongly feel that someday i will grow up protecting and fighting for human rights. And as young as i am right now, they say that my brilliance is undeniable. Other possible choices were: Ashley Nicole, Francesca Simone
My nickname is: Alex / Alexa

Came home for the first time: 7. august 2007 (~5 days) Home address was: #6 Excelsior Apt Purdue St. Iligan City I was greeted at home by: nobody coz everybody was with me in the hospital. More about my first home: After spending about 5days in the hospital, I was very excited to come home. But since I was born in Cagayan de Oro and we live in Iligan City, i spent a good 2hrs traveling by car. Slept the whole time though.
My first home was a two-storey, two-bedroom house. It was very simple yet very warm. I spent most of my time in my parents bedroom. Briefly about the day: I was discharged from the hospital around lunch time. Since, our home is a 2hr drive from the hospital, i made myself comfortable by sleeping on the huge pillow that Dad and Mom brought in the car.
At home, i was greeted by family friends who rushed to our home the moment they knew we had arrived. They were so eager to meet me. Oh, it was such an overwhelming day for all of us.
